Do Marketers Fail or Do They Quit?

I don’t believe that failure exists.

You can try something that doesn’t work. Maybe the idea was flawed.
You’ve just learned that what you’re trying to accomplish can’t be done using
that particular method.

So you try something else.

Following this line of thinking, I suggest that anything that is possible is
therefore achievable.

No matter how many times you test an idea, or what the results are, you’re
gathering information for the next attempt.

Back to my original statement.
If you’re attempting to achieve something, and it’s possible for this thing to happen
based on all laws of physics, known and unknown, the only way a person could fail
to achieve their desired outcome is to stop taking steps toward it, or die.

Death is simply running out of time.

Therefore, there is no such thing as failure.
There are only 2 choices.

1. Continue towards your goal
2. Quit

If you are no longer working towards a desired outcome, you have quit.

Ok, you can change your mind, too. But that’s really a form of quitting.

But only if you’ve given up on ever achieving a desired outcome.
Changing methods isn’t quitting.
Accepting as fact that you’ll never reach your goal is.

Quit a course of action as it’s not fulfilling the desired results but never quit on the ultimate goal of building. That’s quitting !!

That concept of no failure I got while reading Think And Grow Rich.
It just makes so much sense to me. Of course, it also puts responsibility
for your outcomes squarely on your own shoulders.
    Thanks, Joyce
