Dumping The Trash

Dave's Daily, Rants

I’m sitting here waiting for my computer to empty the trash.
No kidding.
An hour last night for it to get ready to empty the trash.
An hour so far today for it to empty, witty 16,701 more items to go.

Now, I thought I emptied my trash fairly regularly. Apparently not.
I am so frustrated.
I can’t use my computer because it’s emptying the trash?
Ok, I guess it’s time for some more storage space.

I’m still working on the video I shot on my day off.
I suppose I should say that I want to work on it, but I can’t because
of storage, RAM or whatever. I want to throw my computer against a wall.

These are the things that will drive you crazy when you’re trying to work
on your business. I’m past procrastination. I want to work. I know what I have
to do, and I have a plan to do it. And now I can’t.

It’s just a small thing, but there it is.

More proof that when you’re in business for yourself, you’ll constantly have
to deal with small issues like this. But that’s Ok.
Because when you finally go full-time, you’ll be able to watch a movie or relax
while you’re waiting, because you’ll know you have lots of time later to finish
your project.

When you only have an hour or so a day to get your business off the ground, it
can be very aggravating. But, as they say, this too shall pass.

And in the end it’ll all be worth it.
