As I was looking over my articles today, I noticed that I haven’t talked much about SEO
lately. Since it’s a very important part of your long-term business strategy, I thought I’d better get busy and start writing a bit more about it. That’s when I realized that all of the attraction marketing articles I’ve written ARE SEO.
SEO and Attraction Marketing are inseparable. Like 2 peas in a pod. Partners on your internet marketing team.
You see, Any time you write an article, make a video, do a podcast, etc., you’re giving your future team members information they can use to help them make money online. Whatever your topic is in a particular piece of content, the end result you’re after is to show your prospects that you can help them succeed. Then they’ll decide to start a business and your downline grows.
Whether you’re posting information on Facebook, Squidoo, YouTube or any of the other social media sites, you’re attracting people that are interested in you and what you’re doing. That’s the essence of attraction marketing.
Whenever you link any of your content to other social media sites, your blog or other places where you’ve posted content, you’re practicing SEO.
See how they work together? You simply can’t attract your target audience if you don’t post content. Your pages won’t rank or get any traffic if you don’t cross-link and promote them.
No traffic = no customers = no new team members = no profit.
Bummer.
Take a look at the big picture. Consider an article. You don’t want your article wasting away by herself on the directory, do you? Of course not. You want your article to have lots of friends. (links) You can link her to other articles on other directories (or the same directory) your “About Me” page on Squidoo, a video on YouTube or even your blog’s home page.
That’s how you get your content (and yourself) noticed. The more links you have to more places, especially if Google sees them as authority sites, the higher you can rise in the organic search results.
But it doesn’t stop there.
If you do this correctly, you’ll see benefits in your PPC campaigns also. The key is relevance. If you have a PPC ad on Google, and the average person who clicks on it spends 3 minutes (a lifetime on the web) on your page, Google notices. It’ s my theory that they al
so notice where the surfer goes after landing on your page.
If Google sees that surfer digging deeper and deeper into your content, and spending lots of time on your pages (that are all linked together) then they’ll assign a very high relevance to your page. Which means much higher rankings in organic search results as well as cheaper CPC (cost per click).
Whenever you produce content, always have a plan for where you’re going to post it, what links you’re going to use to tie it to your other content, and how you can lead your prospects to other similar content on another one of your pages. This strategy will get more traffic to your pages and keep them there longer.
The longer you keep them interested, the better chance you have of turning them into a customer.
Now the equation looks like this:
More traffic = more customers = more team members = more profit.
Yay!
Always remember that SEO is the net you cast onto the Attraction Marketing waters. Used correctly, it’s a powerful force that will ensure your online marketing success.

Your tip on linking from one to another similar posting on another site was priceless, Dave, and I appreciate it. It works too !!
Look forward to your next article.

It’s weird, Joyce. I used to think that SEO was some big, complicated course of action that would take forever to learn. I’ve found that applying just a few techniques can make a huge difference in your site’s exposure.
